Burnt Factory Pond is located five miles north of Bennettsville in Marlboro County, South Carolina, and nine miles south of Cheraw, South Carolina. There are 185 acres in the tract, and the pond is between 90 and 100 acres.

This is a beautiful cabin site for for the retreat you have been looking for to share with friends and family; and there are suitable sites for building clubhouses, homes or condos at one end of the dam. There is a boat landing for launching hunting or fishing boats.

The dam is a county-state maintained road and the water level can be raised or lowered with ease by thick boards at the raceway that can be added to or removed. On occasion, the water level has been drawn down to allow water to flow to Lake Paul Wallace, the water supply for Bennettsville and surrounding areas.
